Xu Aihua: A story of a Zhejiang Entrepreneur​

On September 23, 1985, Deng Xiaoping, the Chinese leader at the time, proposed: "Encourage some regions and some people to get rich first, so they will lead more and more people to get rich, eventually achieving the ultimate goal of common prosperity." Later, the slogan “the better-off ones should help those lagging behind” fully realized China's huge market potential. In less than 40 years, China has become the world's second-largest economy, and many people have become rich in every sector.

Of course, as long as there are rich people, there must be poor people. I have always wondered, do the rich Chinese still remember the original promise? Zhejiang businesspeople are among the first group in China to get rich. I hope to find representatives and hear their thoughts.

As a well-known Zhejiang entrepreneur, Xu Aihua's story has inspired many children from poor families worldwide. I think this is an excellent case study.
